Upgrading to Windows 7 Family Pack and Keeping Microsoft Office?
So I have Windows Vista Office Edition installed right now. My brother just bought Windows 7 and I found out that me and my mom could also join in to the fun with the family pack. However he got home edition that does not include office. Am I going to have to repurchase Microsoft Office or is there a way to reuse the one I had.
No, just use the upgrade option of the WIndows 7 install and your current applications will remain intact. You will not lose them or have to reinstall.
If you don’t want to upgrade then you can just reinstall office again. I would highly recommend using the upgrade option (it is second or third dialog in).
