How do I convince my parents to buy me a Smartphone(from verizon Wireless) for Christmas?

I currently have the LG Chocolate Touch. I want a smartphone for Christmas from Verizon Wireless. Any suggestions on how to make my parents think I can handle the extra and earn the $15 month fee…? Also, if you have verizon or a Smartphone from verizon, which newer phone would be the best for a texter, web browser person? Please no negative comments!!! Thank You!

Best thing for you to do is to find a local Verizon store and test out the phones in your hands. That way you will know which phones fit your hands and which ones with or without keyboards, are better for YOUR texting. Some people can fly on a on a touch screen only keyboard, and others can type faster on a physical keyboard. Which one you happen to be, you won’t know until you get several phones in your hands, to try them out.

I know doing anything with those short tethered phones in the stores, is not the same as spending time with one in your room, but you at least get the feel for the phone and how it feels in your hands.
