What happens after the trial period for windows 7 ends?

I wanted to get the trial for windows 7 downloaded on my Dell inspiron. Since they said not to use it on main comp. I thought I’d try it on my mini so when the trial period is over will I be able to go back to windows xp? Or will I be forced to go buy the disc?

I am not sure what you mean by a trial version, as Yeti mentioned the RC has closed for months already. Make sure you are running a Genuine version of Windows 7: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/genuine.

To revert back to XP you will need to have your original XP disks available and reinstall XP after the ‘trial’ period has ended.
